Hi, welcome to humbugsaidscrooge, the web site for Spavens Sweet Shop the biggest sweet shop in Wales and possibly the U.K. (We think). We stock over 400 jars of sweets (402 last count) and loads of novelty sweets and everyone has been tested by our goodselves. We are a family business that has sold sweets for 25 years and is presently run by us, Alan and Rhian Spaven.
We have great fun running this shop and enjoy making it a fun and interesting place to work and shop in where else would you find sugar mice running up the walls! We also have birthday parties in the shop after hours, a lock-in in a sweet shop every child’s dream come true.
The aim of our web site is to give our customers the same service and experience you would expect from a visit to our shop, where we quite often get people coming in just to reminisce and soak up the friendly atmosphere.
